Dundas County Players Theatre Society is a community volunteer, not-for-profit, Ontario registered oganisation that promotes theatre arts in Dundas County. Since 1996, Dundas County Players has been providing quality entertainment including plays, cabarets and dinner theatre.
Dundas County Players perform at The North Dundas Old Town Hall for Arts and Heritage, corner of Main and Centre Streets in Winchester, Ontario, Canada. Our 100 seat theatre is located in the former Winchester municipal town hall. Commissioned by council for construction in 1901 and completed in 1904, the former Town Hall has been a landmark and part of township life for over a century. One of the few surviving examples of late 19th century architecture, the Town Hall is charming blend of functional administrative and fire hall needs, and distinctive Victorian design with its red brick façade, arched windows, recessed entrance, tower and elegant cupola. The Old Town Hall has been the home to DCP since 2001 when the main floor and garage area was converted into a theatre and historial information centre.
The theatre is accessible and we welcome you to come and enjoy our performances in our historic setting.
